TOPEKA, KS – The Brahmas walked away from Kansas with one point in the standings out of a possible four in their series against the Topeka Roadrunners. Lone Star suffered a 3-2 loss on Friday and followed it up with a 2-1 overtime loss on Saturday.

Five new Brahmas saw the ice this weekend and it’s only a matter of time before the Brahmas hit their scoring stride. Forwards Ture Linden (1-0–1) and Connor Pooley (0-2–2) each registered a point this past weekend in Topeka and look forward to their first week of practice in North Richland Hills. Defensemen Jakob Sirota (0-1–1) and Connor Stuart and goaltender Harrison Feeney (19 saves) also got action this weekend and logged a healthy amount of minutes.
