The Lone Star Brahmas‘ playoff schedule kicked off on Friday night against the dangerous Wenatchee Wild. The Brahmas closed out the regular season as the NAHLSouth Division Champions and received a bye into the first round while Wenatchee as the fifth seed had to earn their way in against the Corpus Christi Icerays.
Wenatchee broke through at 7:20 of the first off a broken play in front leaving Brendan Harris at the top of the paint with the puck on his stick. Harris put it past Jake Kupsky’sleft pad with an assist to Jake Ahlgren. The Brahmas had a few scoring chances late, but the Wild made the one goal lead stand up as the horn sounded.
