NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX–
The Lone Star Brahmas have signed Frisco, Texas native, Vladimir Saibel to a tender agreement for the 2024/2025 season. Saibel has spent this season with the Dallas Stars Elite 18UAAA club where he has averaged over a point a game. As a 2005 birth-year player, Saibel will be eligible to play for the Brahmas through the 2025-2026 season.
Leading his 18U AAA team in overall points, Saibel brings not only a scoring touch to the Brahmas, but also a great deal of speed. In addition to these great assets, Vladimir is likely to continue the tradition of Brahmas teams’ having a local homegrown player on the game-day line-ups sheets. The Lone Star Brahmas mission since day one has been to grow the great game of hockey, right here in North Texas. By elevating a local player from Texas’ tier one system, Brahmas Hockey demonstrates for local players that there is not only a path to play junior hockey, but a path which widens and extends to the NCAA and beyond.
Vladimir Saibel’s story is testament as to why the North American Hockey League has become branded as The League of Opportunity, and Brahmas Hockey will continue to serve Texas hockey players in this endeavor.
