Main Camp at NYTEX Sports Centre, Home of the Brahmas, is now less than three weeks away. With all four NAHL and NA3HL coaches returning for the 2024-25 campaign and a successful draft in the rear view, the intensity of the playoffs is still present in the air of the facility. The best consequence of a championship winning year is that the “off-season” itself doesn’t really exist in practical terms. Like a train locomotive, the Hockey Operations simply keep on rolling. These are the best of times to circle back to the Brahmas ethos of “Respect & Responsibility” and the culture this creates in Brahma Land.
Outgoing Director of Communications Sam Sequenzia articulated his perception of Respect & Responsibility in his June 22, 2024 exit interview with Brahmas VP Chad Siewert. Sam felt the saying to be better than a catchy marketing campaign, and more like a discipline. “For me, Respect & Responsibility means ‘Always leave the campsite better than it looked when you found it’ and that’s exactly what I’m trying to teach my kids. I hope they pass this on to their own kids someday.”
