North Richland Hills, TX — If you have not visited the NYTEX Sports Shop in a while, please come check out all the changes and meet new manager Jess Friederick. Jess joined the NYTEX family after graduating from Trine University in the Spring of 2022, with a Master of Business Administration degree and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Sports Management. While at Trine, Friederick worked with the NCAA men’s hockey team as a social media and management intern.
Since her arrival in Brahma Land, Jess has had a huge part in outfitting our junior Brahmas with the best looking uniforms, dry land gear, and joggers in youth hockey! Despite tight deadlines, supply chain and work force issues, Jess has our players looking like pros as they head into the 22-23 hockey season. Junior Brahmas entering the Dallas Stars Travel Hockey League (DSTHL) and their parents may have noticed a smoother process relating to uniform sizing and equipment distribution. This new online-form process for players and parents was created by Jess with input from the Lone Star Brahmas Communications Department. This effort to streamline the cumbersome routines of onboarding eight travel teams with matching uniforms, player name/number details, alternate jerseys (and countless other moving parts) delivers a tangible value added to Brahmas Hockey. It should be noted that the Junior Brahmas will be among the few teams this weekend to enter the leveling festival with complete, matching uniforms so early in the season.
Along with her role as shop manager, Friederick is also the NYTEX Adult League coordinator. The NYTEX Adult leagues have flourished under this new leadership and expanded engagement by aligning the program to focus on player development, instructional opportunities, and proper prioritization of the leveling procedures. This level of organizational continuity is made possible by Friederick’s uncompromising work ethic, attention to detail, and multi-tasked prioritization skills.
