NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Lone Star Brahmas are pleased to announce the addition of two new in-arena hostesses that will be part of the 2019-20 season gameday experience! Throughout the season fans will see Jordan McDowell or Savannah Medina at the NYTEX Sports Centre getting the fans involved in the game day atmosphere or having fun with games on the ice!
Fans can also be excited for the return of DJ EJ who is ready to rock the house!
Jordan McDowell
Born and raised in Rowlett, Texas, Jordan McDowell comes from a loud and crazy household with a personality to match! She moved to Denton with the hopes of studying radio, television, and film, where her passion for sports led her to work for The Texas Rangers as a Six Shooter, as well as dancing and skating as an Ice Girl for The Dallas Stars. After cheering at The University of North Texas and earning her Bachelor’s Degree, she landed a career in the marketing industry of real estate, where she currently works full-time as a business development officer.
She is ecstatic about this opportunity with The Lone Star Brahmas and looks forward to meeting the fans, giving back to the community, interacting with kids, and filling more hours of her days with hockey. She is beyond thankful to be a member of the Brahmas’ Family, and couldn’t be more ready to get the 2019-2020 season underway!
Savannah Medina
Savannah Medina was raised in Dallas, Texas and has played almost every sport growing up! Currently, she is playing soccer (and in her nineteenth year) but is ready to run the rink as one of the in-arena hosts this season! Savannah enjoys a great family environment where she can do what she loves most; spending time with her daughter. Savannah is also a fan of traveling where she can hike, and being in any sporting environment with others who share the same passion for the game, which will make Brahma Land her new favorite arena!
