Gothenburg, Sweden native and Lone Star Brahmas Goalie Ludvig Persson is the ninth NCAA commit from the Brahmas this season, and the Miami University Redhawks are excited for the 2020-21 season accordingly. Currently sharing the lead for NAHL shutouts this season, Person is also ranked fourth in the NAHL both GAA and SV% (1.56 and 0.936 respectively).
Persson’s most recent performance at the net was Friday night, December 21st against the visiting Topeka Pilots, where he posted his 6th shutout with 22 saves. Consistently in consideration for player of the week, the 6’1” 183 lb net minder is one of the many reasons the Lone Star Brahmas continue to lead the NAHL South Division and Persson has announced his intent with pride and excitement to join the Redhawks.
