Frank

Owner/President:  Frank Trazzera

The Massapequa, Long Island native has had a life-long passion for the sport of hockey.  After a long and successful career in the foodservice industry, where he ran the food operations for companies like the University of Houston and Southwest Airlines, he had a wild idea to buy a hockey rink. Frank, along with his brother Salvatore, purchased the remains of the former Blue Line Ice Complex, breathed life back into it, and reopened it under the name NYTEX Sports Centre.
NYTEX became the home for the Junior Brahmas Hockey Club and the Texas Brahmas of the then Central Hockey League. In 2013, Frank and his brother purchased the Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League and moved them from Frisco to NYTEX, and rebranded as the Lone Star Brahmas.
As the President of the Brahmas, Frank has helped over 100 athletes achieve their goal of gaining a Division I Scholarship, as well as see a handful drafted into the National Hockey League.
