FRISCO, TX – Over the weekend, the North American Hockey League announced the divisional and Selects rosters for the upcoming Top Prospects Tournament later this month. The Top Prospects Tournament will take place in Plymouth, Michigan on February 27 and 28.
The Brahmas are sending a NAHL-high seven skaters to the event, as well as Head Coach Dan Wildfong, who will be in charge of coaching the South Division team.
Forwards Troy York, Hunter Stanley, Austin Kamer and Carson Kelley will join Wildfong on the South Division roster. Brahmas captain John Zimmerman will also play for Team South.

2017 NHL Draft eligible skaters Justin Addamo and Simon Loof will represent the Brahmas on the Selects roster during the tournament. They will join four other South Division players on the roster.

This annual NAHL event is one of the most highly-scouted events of its kind. Last season, over 250 scouts attended the event, which featured almost every NHL team and NCAA Division I school. It continues to be an important part of the NAHL event model, which is inclusive of the NAHL Showcase in September and the NAHL Robertson Cup National Championship in May.
Only players without a college commitment are eligible to compete for the South, East, Midwest and Central divisions respectively. The purpose of this event is to allow scouts to get a look at over 100 talented athletes in the same location. The NAHL Selects roster is comprised of the top NHL Draft-eligible players from the North American Hockey League.
The South Division will play Monday, February 27th at 6:00 p.m. CST against the United States National Team Development Program (USHL) and take on the Central Division at 1 p.m. CST on Tuesday, February 28th.
The NAHL Selects will compete against the East Division (1:00 p.m. CST) and the USNTDP (4:00 p.m. CST) on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
