NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The past few weeks have been busy for Brahmas’ college announcements with Thomas Daskas adding his name to the list after his recent commitment to the Air Force Academy.

Daskas, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound forward from Rochester Hills, Michigan, joins current Lone Star Brahmas teammate and Air Force commit Sam Brennan as future members of the Falcons hockey team.

Originally a member of the Shreveport Mudbugs last season, Daskas appeared in three games before joining the Brahmas and playing in 41 games with five goals and three assists.

Through 20 games this season Daskas has blown his stats from last season out of the water. Already, the future Falcon has recorded five goals, three game-winning goals, and 12 assists. The 12 assists this season are second-best on the team and his 17 points are tied for second.

The Lone Star Brahmas now sits at nine players on this season’s roster with college commitments placing the team in a tie for the most by a single team in the North American Hockey League.
