BREAKING — Brahmas to play IceWolves in back-to-back series

Dec 4, 2020

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TEXAS — The Lone Star Brahmas and the NYTEX Sports Centre announce a postponement of the games originally scheduled for Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12 against the Wichita Falls Warriors. We are pleased to announce that the New Mexico Ice Wolves will play against the Brahmas again on Friday, December 11th and Saturday, December 12th instead. All existing tickets for those games will be honored. Please contact the Lone Star Brahmas Box Office as soon as possible if you will be unable to use your existing tickets.
One of the most celebrated traditions in Brahmaland is the Teddy Bear Toss; we will observe the tradition of Teddy Bear Toss on Friday, December 11th as planned, benefitting the Community Enrichment Center (CEC) of Bedford, Texas. This season, during a year unlike any other, the needs of the community have broadened in scope. To address this matter, the CEC will also have donation areas around the NYTEX concourse for the collection of essentials like new shoes, diapers, formula, supermarket gift cards, new coats, and things that will make the holidays brighter for the families of the children who will receive the tossed teddy bears. Last season, Brahmaland supplied 1,310 Plush toys to the CEC, which brought smiles to countless across the Metroplex
The following evening, Saturday, December 12, the Brahmas will observe “Local Heroes Night”, dedicated to those who have served in the U.S. Military and first responders.
A very limited number of tickets remain for the next five games at the Shoebox versus the New Mexico Ice Wolves starting tonight, December 4. The remaining games are Saturday, December 5th, Sunday, December 6*, Friday, December 11 (Teddy Bear Toss) and Saturday, December 12 (Local Heroes Night). All games start at 7:30 p.m. CST except on Sunday, December 6 (* 4:00 p.m. puck drop).  Masks are required at all times in all areas of the NYTEX Sports Centre. Please be respectful of your fellow spectators and the privilege of witnessing these athletes’ opportunity to play in front of spectators. Several other teams in the North American Hockey League are unable to play with fans in the stands. All games are available for streaming on HockeyTV.
