AMARILLO, TX — The Brahmas and Bulls meet again as this season’s Battle of the Cattle resumes this weekend. The Bulls currently lead the South Division by a comfortable margin, while the Brahmas sit in third place.
Gameday Need-to-Know
The Battle of the Cattle’s next installment occurs Friday and Saturday at the Amarillo Civic Center. Puck drop for both evenings is scheduled for 7:05 PM.

Season Head-to-Head
Thus far this season, the Brahmas have gone 2-2-0 against the Bulls, with two games being played in Amarillo and two at home in North Richland Hills. (The Brahmas are 1-1-0 both home and away.)
The Bulls have outscored the Brahmas 13-7 in the season series, so it’s been all about timely goals for the Brahmas to come away with two wins.
With a stat line of 2-2–4 in four games, currently-injured forward Michal Stinil is the Brahmas’ leading scorer against the Bulls. Logan Jenuwine is the Bulls leading scorer against the Brahmas, with four goals and an assist in three games played.
Quick Notes
- This will be the Brahmas’ first weekend without veteran defenseman Jakub Sirota, who has departed the team to join the University of Maine Black Bears for the remainder of the season.
- After three straight regulation losses, the Brahmas will be hungry for wins and want to pick up some points this weekend.
- The Brahmas forward group is suffering from some injuries to key skaters currently, so the coaches will be looking for players to step up this weekend and beyond. Keep an eye out for rookie forward Andrew DeCarlo, who has goals in his last two weekends and looks to be hitting his stride. Newly-acquired forwards Joey Baez and Eric Huss should also bring some energy and offense to the lineup.
