Brahmas Draft 2023

Lone Star Brahmas Draft Day 2023 has arrived. The coaches are running their war room at an undisclosed location and working the phones as the organization is slated to take thirteen picks today. Updates are being posted here and on our social channels

FIrst Round – 30th Overall

With the 30th overall selection in the 2023 NAHL Draft, we are happy to select Parker Murray of the Wenatchee Wild of the BCHL. Parker finished his most recent playoff run with 13 goals in just 10 games!

Murray brings size and the ability to score to The Shoebox and we hope to see him around very soon! Welcome to Brahma Land Parker!


Round 2 – 62nd Overall

With the 62nd overall selection in the 2023 NAHL Draft, Brahmas select Aiden Peters of the Grande Prairie Storm. In his previous season with the Grande Prairie Storm Ayden scored 37 points in 51 games behind 18 goals and 19 assists. Welcome to Brahma Land Ayden!


Round 3 – 94th Overall

Shifting to the defensive side we have selected Isaiah Norlin with the 94th pick overall in the 3rd round.
At 6’5 Norlin brings size to the blue line as the Brahmas continue to add size to their roster with the second 6’5 selection of the day!

4th Round – 114th Overall
In the 4th Round with the 114th selection overall the Brahmas select Billy Stuski, Goalie of the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers. At 6’1 in net, the Philadelphia native is going to be a prospect to watch, in the fine tradition of Brahmas goalkeepers.

4th Round – 126th Overall
With the 126th overall selection in the 2023 NAHL Draft, the Brahmas pick Alex Keskintepe of the Mercer Chiefs NCDC @mercerchiefsncdc to add size to the already stout Brahmas D-Line. Welcome to Brahma Land, Alex!

Round 5 – 158th Overall
With the 158th selection overall, Brahmas select Center Forward Jeff Hammond of the Philadelphia Flyers 18UAAA! Welcome to Brahma Land Jeff!

 


Round 7 – 222nd

In Round 7 of the 2023 NAHL Draft, Lone Star Brahmas select Damon Myers of St. Mark’s School and the Boston Little Bruins of the EHF 18U-Elite. Welcome to Brahma Land, Damon!


Round 8 – 254th

With the 254th selection overall in the 2023 NAHL Draft, the Brahmas select Spencer Sasenbury of the North Shore Hockey Academy 18U! Welcome to Brahma Land, Spencer!

 


Round 9 – 286th Overall

With the 286th pick overall in the 2023 NAHL Draft the Brahmas proudly select Jason Zaccari, D man from the Boston Jr Eagles 18UAAA and previously the Anaheim Ducks! Welcome to Brahma Land, Jason!


 

10th Round – 318th Overall 

In Round 10 the Lone Star Brahmas are excited to select Defenseman Ryan Santiago of the Bishop Kearney Selects 18U AAA. Ryan attended the Brahmas Pre-Draft Camp in Hammond, IN this month and made an impression! Welcome to Brahma Land, Ryan!

Round 11 – 350th Overall

With the 350th pick overall in the 2023 NAHL Draft, the Brahmas select Beau Lane, Goalie of the Thayer Academy Tigers! Welcome to Brahma Land, Beau!


Round 12 – 382nd Overall

With the 382nd overall selection of the 2023 NAHL Draft, the Brahmas pick Chase Becnel of the Philadelphia Jr Flyers 18UAAA and T1EHL 18U! Becnel attended the Brahmas Pre-Draft Camp earlier this month in Hammond, IL. Welcome to Brahma Land, Chase!


Round 13 – 414th Overall

The Brahmas are elated to utilize the 414th overall pick to WELCOME BACK TO BRAHMA LAND Beau Kralovec! Beau made starts for both the NAHL Lone Star Brahmas as well as the @texasbrahmas of the NA3HL. WELCOME BACK BEAU!
