Brahmas Down Killer Bees On A Shutout By Jake Kupsky

The final regular season series between the Lone Star Brahmas and Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees opened at the State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, TX on Friday night.

Lone Star controlled play for most of the first period outshooting the Killer Bees 13 – 6 in the period and generating multiple scoring chances. They finally broke through at 10:40 when Sean Giles held in a clearing attempt at the far point and pumped it on net.Oskar Andren redirected the shot off a defender to Sebastian Vidmar in the slot and he put it short side past Nick Schmit.
