Following Loss on Saturday, Brahmas Face Rio

Dec 28, 2014

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (December 27) – The Brahmas fell to the hands of the Jackalopes Saturday evening 4-2 on the road.

The Odessa Jackalopes got the scoring started at the 12:54 mark in the first period with a powerplay goal beating Jake Kupsky. The second period gave the Brahmas a two goal deficit when Waxin-Engback found the back of the net one minute into the middle frame.

The league's leading scorer and Brahmas forward Sebastian Vidmar scored his 20th goal of the season for a 2-1 score in the third but an Odessa breakaway shorthanded goal sealed the fate for the Brahmas. In effort for a comeback, Brahmas winger Vanderbeck scored with the extra attacker, but it would not be enough for a 4-2 final.
