FRISCO, TX – The Lone Star Brahmas have released the 2018-19 schedule in conjunction with the North American Hockey League. The Brahmas will play a 60-game regular season schedule that features 28 home games. The season opens on September 15, 2018 and ends on April 6, 2019.
The regular season begins in Amarillo at the Civic Center on Saturday, September 15th. The Brahmas will travel to Blaine, Minnesota for the NAHL Showcase the following week and play four games in four days from September 19-22. The NAHL will release the Showcase schedule later this summer so keep an eye out to see which out-of-division teams the Brahmas will play in Minnesota.
Following the Showcase, the Brahmas open their home portion of the schedule on September 28th and 29th at the NYTEX Sports Centre against the Odessa Jackalopes.
The Lone Star Brahmas have four weekend home games in October and five more home contests in November. The Brahmas welcome back Military Appreciation month in November and will wear specialty jerseys that will be auctioned off on Saturday, November 24th following the game against the Corpus Christi IceRays.
In December, the Brahmas play eight of ten games on the road. The boys in purple will kick off the holiday break with a pair of home games on December 21 and 22 against the IceRays.
The Brahmas are bringing back their Martin Luther King afternoon game on January 21st against Louisiana rival Shreveport Mudbugs. Lone Star closes their spring portion of the schedule with one home weekend in February, three home weekends in March and one home weekend in April before the playoffs begin.
