Brahmas Welcome Communications Intern from Trine University

Welcome Brooklynn Gravel, Public Relations/ Media Intern, with NYTEX Sports!  Gravel joined us in June of this year for her summer internship and is wrapping up her projects here in Brahma Land.

Gravel is no stranger to the world of sports as she was raised in the gym with two parents as coaches. This past year Gravel completed a sports media internship with Trine University where she had the opportunity to further explore the world of athletics in a professional setting.

Gravel is approaching her senior year of school at Trine University where she is majoring in Communications, minoring in Psychology, and completing her master’s program in the upcoming year in Organizational Leadership. At school Brooklynn is the Editor-In-Chief of the HAC Media team, part of the psychology club, and works as a tutor in the school’s writing center. Gravel spends most of her free time coaching, at the gym or playing volleyball.

After finishing her graduate program, Gravel intends to travel and eventually move south to which she remarked “I want to move south for career opportunities, but the warmer weather doesn’t hurt!”

Brahma Land is delighted by the results Ms. Gravel delivered this summer, including updates of Brahmas NAHL and NA3HL Alumni pages, social media content creation, tryouts logistics/information desk, press releases and new spirit wear designs for the Sports Shop. The entire organization is grateful to Ms. Gravel and Trine University for this opportunity to collaborate.
