Exciting tryout weekend, Brahmas promote two coaches for 2021-22 season

The Lone Star Brahmas are proud to promote Ryan Anderson to Associate Head Coach for the upcoming season.

A Fraser Cup Champion, “The Admiral” was a key coaching staff member during the Texas Brahmas NA3HL title run in 2018-19. He has since served two seasons as head coach, commanding 74 victories in 86 games.

Anderson is a veteran behind the bench, previously as an assistant for the Hampton Roads Whalers, Norfolk Admirals (ECHL) and Corpus Christi Ice Rays (NAHL).

In addition to his promotion, Anderson will continue his duties as interim General Manager of the Texas Brahmas, as well as player development for the Brahmas organization.

The Texas Brahmas are pleased to announce and welcome back Ed Galiani as head coach for the NA3HL 2021-22 season.

No stranger to the NYTEX Sports Centre, Coach Galiani was also instrumental during the Texas Brahmas NA3HL Fraser Cup championship as head coach in 2019.

Galiani brings with him a wealth of coaching experience in addition to a decorated background playing the game. As a player, Eddie was an All-American at New England College, totalling 178 points in 97 games, and continued his career in the European professional leagues.

Coach Galiani has led teams across three different leagues: the AJHL, USPHL, and the NA3HL, including being the Hockey Director of the Long Island Gulls Tier I AAA youth program for eight years.

He remains entrenched in Jr. Brahmas hockey as 18AA Head Coach while also focusing on player advancement and scouting.
