There will be a military poster giveaway sponsored by CareNow for the first 500 fans through the doors.

Last Time We Met…
The Brahmas and Mudbugs have only played two games against each other this year, in a weekend series at the NYTEX Sports Centre in the beginning of November. As has often been the case recently, the Brahmas put forth a stifling defensive effort at home against the Bugs, sweeping Shreveport with a shutout win on Friday and a 3-2 shootout victory on Saturday.
Harrison Feeney was in net on Friday, recording his second shutout of the year. Clayton Lackey scored both Brahmas’ goals in the 2-0 win, one of which came on a penalty shot.
Lackey played the hero again the following night, as he scored the only goal for either team in the shootout to give the Brahmas the 3-2 win and the weekend sweep. Thomas Daskas scored his first NAHL goal, and Matt Guerra came up with the equalizer with only 25 seconds left in regulation to send the Brahmas to overtime. Seth Eisele recorded the win.
- By the end of this week, the Brahmas will have played five games in a span of nine days, including games Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
- Take advantage of the Brahmas’ homestand this week! These three games are the last ones in the Shoebox before the team hits the road for the next three weekends. The last of those three weekends will be grueling — they’ll be playing a three-in-three in Shreveport in their first trip to George’s Pond since being eliminated from the Robertson Cup Playoffs last season. In fact, it’s a rough stretch of the schedule for the team, as they’ll be playing their next seven games on the road and have just one home weekend in December.
- The Brahmas’ annual Teddy Bear Toss game is this Friday, November 23rd. It’s earlier than usual due to the lack of home games in December, but it’s a great chance to grab some stuffed animals during Black Friday shopping before heading to the rink!
- The team will be sporting their black Military Recognition Specialty Jerseys for the rest of the week. The game-worn jerseys will be auctioned live after the game on Saturday!
