NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – Lone Star Brahmas defenseman Anton Sandberg has signed a professional hockey deal in Sweden with the Hanhals Kings hockey club. Hanhals is a Division I program in Kungsbacka, Sweden.
Sandberg played 45 games this past season for the Brahmas, registering seven points. His first NAHL goal was the Teddy Bear Toss goal on December 8, 2017. Prior to his time in Texas, Sandberg played junior hockey in Sweden for clubs in Karlskrona and Orebro. He spent the 2016-17 season as an alternate captain for Karlskrona in the SuperElit.
Sandberg is currently the youngest defenseman on Hanhals’ roster for the 2018-19 season.
