NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX — Brahmas forward Owen Farris has been loaned to the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the USHL.
Farris was drafted by Muskegon in the 2016 USHL Futures Draft and is currently a Muskegon affiliate player. He will be joining the Lumberjacks for at least the next two weeks.
The 2000 birthyear forward is a product of the Dallas Stars T1EHL program and made the jump from the Dallas Stars U16 straight to the Lone Star Brahmas.
In 24 games, Farris has registered two assists and logs time on the penalty kill unit.
“I’m very excited to have been called up by Muskegon,” Farris said. “Playing in the USHL will be a great opportunity to play in Tier I Juniors and develop. I would like to thank my teammates and coaches for all that they have done for me and I wish them the best of luck while I’m gone.”
