Brahmas Come Up Short 3-2 in First Showcase Game

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas (September 17) – A valiant effort by the Brahmas in the first game of the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN came just short as they were defeated by the Magicians, 3-2.

An first period offensive attack by Brahmas Johan Steen and Anton Santesson had the purple and white tied 2-2 entering the middle frame, but a Magicians goal at the 11:27 marker in the second remained the game winner.

Goaltender T.J. Black played between the pipes for the Brahmas saving 13 shots. The Brahmas now look forward to tomorrow’s game against Kenai River at 5 PM.  Games can be seen online at Fast Hockey.

The Brahmas will host their home opener Friday, October 10 at the NYTEX Sports Centre as they face the Corpus Christi IceRays for a 7:30 PM faceoff.  For ticket information, including season ticket packages, contact the Brahmas offices at 817-336-4423.
