Press Release: Teddy Bear Toss & Star Wars Weekend

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, TX – The Brahmas will host two of the years most exciting promotions this weekend when they welcome the Wichita Falls Wildcats to town.

On Friday, December 11th it’s Teddy Bear Toss.   Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used teddy bear or stuffed animal which will be thrown on the ice when the Brahmas score their first goal of the night.   The toys will be cleaned up and donated to the Community Enrichment Center.

Also on the 11th, the first 500 fans in the doors will receive a free koozie with a buy one get one free coupon inside from our friends at Red Hot and Blue North Richland Hills.

Additionally available Friday beginning at 6:30 pm we will have a very limited number of Game Programs for sale.   This first batch of game programs will be for sale in the lobby.  The game programs will be for sale for $10 each and will come with a Brahmas horn, voucher good for two tickets, a free appetizer from Texas Road House, Red Hot and Blue Coupon, and skate pass for the NYTEX Sports Centre.

These programs will be autographed by the players featured on the cover. We received a very limited amount from our printer, so once they are gone they are gone.   We will be offering game programs for sale both on our online store and at games beginning later this month.

Saturday the 12th will bring another exciting promotion as the Brahmas will host Star Wars Night.   Star Wars Night is sponsored by K12 Texas Virtual Academy and the Make a Wish Foundation of Fort Worth.  Tickets are still available for this game, if you order online and use promo code WISH upon checkout you will receive a discount, AND more importantly make a donation to Make a Wish.   Make a Wish and K12 will have tables in the lobby, so be sure to stop by and learn about these two fantastic groups!
